Job Purpose


This is an exciting opportunity to further develop the BeNeLux area and deliver profitable growth for the segments: PRO, Retail and Superyacht. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and developing the sales team, driving business relationships with customers and delivering monthly forecasts in line with AkzoNobel Dem.and requirements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and drive business relationships with customers (distributors, direct accounts) in the BeNeLux;
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor the sales team (6 persons) to foster growth and excellence;
  • Conclude commercial proposals of product & services based on a proper analysis of the key needs;
  • Roll-out and coordinate with the Marketing department the agreed strategies for the BeNeLux;
  • Work closely with other area managers to support overall Yacht business;
  • Analyze market developments and periodically assess sales forecasts;
  • Develop and maintain the commercial area 18 months' plan;

Experience


We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree and preferably a NACE 1 or RMCI qualification.

  • Excellent command of Dutch and English languages
  • 5 years of experience in sales management
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM
  • Solid communication skills, customer-focused and a team worker
  • Driven and self-starter with leadership skills
