Job description

POSITION: Computational Design Intern
EXPERIENCE: Master Student
DEDICATION: Fulltime (40 hours)
LOCATION: Rotterdam, the Netherlands
PERIOD: September 2024 - Februari 2025 (6 months)
We are looking for a new Intern for our Computational Design team in Rotterdam for the period of September 2024 - February 2025 for a prefered minimum of 6 months. Are you a real self-starter with high coding and digital design skills? Are you willing to continually seek to identify opportunities to implement CD? Are you a good communicator that can present ideas clearly and provide support to teams on how to implement computational logics? Then we are looking for you!
YOUR ROLE

Within KCAP and for the outside world, your team is a center point for researching and deploying advanced scripts and topics relating to environmental simulation, data mapping, workflow optimization, and digital tool construction for Architecture, Urban Planning and Landscape design scales.

• Provide support, troubleshooting and refinement for CD workflows
• Dig deep into environmental research
• Ability to work with multiple teams and projects at the same time.
• Assist project teams with CD-related work
• Debug and Publish digital tools via our internal CMS
• Report on and Present the findings of your work to Associate and Partners
