Procurement is part of Finance, and the CPO (Chief Procurement Officer) reports to the CFO of KPN. Total Procurement consists of approximately 70 professionals working in 6 teams. The Procurement department is engaged in the sourcing, purchasing, and management of contracts for all services and goods for the entirety of KPN.

Suppliers are crucial to KPN's success. Therefore, Procurement goes to great lengths to find the right match between KPN and suppliers to achieve the best deals. Procurement takes responsibility for maximizing the value of every euro spent. The team's activities include (re)contracting suppliers, managing contracts, and maintaining relationships with both our suppliers and KPN colleagues at various levels. Additionally, we also ensure a long-term focus through the development of procurement-related strategies.

Your role as Inkoper

As a Procurement Specialist within our team, you play a crucial role in selecting suppliers that deliver products and services of the highest quality, directly contributing to an outstanding customer experience. Your work supports KPN's 'Connect, Activate, and Grow' strategy, where you ensure innovation and customer satisfaction.

An essential aspect of your role is not only selecting the right supplier but also maintaining successful relationships with both suppliers and KPN colleagues in the business. This latter aspect also provides you with the opportunity to get to know the organization well.

This is your team

The team consists of 9 professionals and focuses on the procurement of consumer products such as handsets (including Apple/Samsung), modems, TV set-top boxes, and Logistics services (including Post NL). Together with stakeholders, we play a crucial role in maintaining our leading position as a Telecom provider in the Netherlands. We follow a flexible work policy, meaning you work both from home and, by agreement, at our office in Zoetermeer.

What will you get from us

• A gross monthly salary in accordance with the collective labor agreement (CAO) depending on your work experience based on 37 hours
• Flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week, allowing you to receive a maximum of 8.5% of your gross salary
• A 10.5% allowance of your gross monthly salary (including 8% vacation pay)
• Annual individual and collective salary increases according to our CAO

• Excellent pension benefits: a total contribution of 23% of your pensionable salary, of which KPN contributes 16% and you contribute 7%
